Learning with PARLE

Tutoring

We offer limited native French learner tutoring opportunities throughout the academic year designed to help students strengthen comprehension, build conversational confidence, and receive additional personalized support alongside the PARLE curriculum. These sessions are intended to create a more supportive and engaging learning environment while encouraging long-term language development and academic growth.

Partnerships

PARLE works in collaboration with The Paris Picnic Club to help create immersive and community-oriented learning experiences for students throughout the academic year. Through select partnerships, cultural programming, and socially engaging environments, we aim to encourage language development beyond the classroom while fostering meaningful connections, confidence, and real-world conversational practice within the Paris community.

Year-Long Academic Structure

PARLE courses are designed around a structured academic-year format running from September through June, allowing students to develop language skills gradually and consistently over time rather than through short-term intensive study alone. This extended learning structure is intended to encourage stronger long-term retention, greater conversational confidence, and more meaningful progression across reading, writing, comprehension, and practical language use throughout the year.

Immersive Learning Environment

PARLE encourages students to engage with French beyond traditional coursework through reading activities, conversational practice, cultural exposure, and community-oriented learning experiences intended to help students feel more comfortable using the language naturally in everyday settings. Our goal is to create an environment where language learning feels active, engaging, and connected to real-world communication.

Textbook + Workbook Materials

Each PARLE course includes a dedicated digital textbook and workbook developed to support structured academic progression throughout the year. Coursework materials are designed to reinforce grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, written expression, and practical language development through guided lessons, exercises, reading activities, and independent practice intended to complement classroom instruction and long-term language retention.

Flexible Learning Options

PARLE offers both online instruction and select in-person learning opportunities throughout the academic year to help create a more flexible and accessible learning environment for students across different schedules, goals, and timelines. This blended approach is intended to support consistent language development while allowing students to engage with coursework in a format that best fits their individual learning experience.
