About the Course
PARLE French A1 is a beginner French course designed for students beginning their journey with the language from little to no prior experience. Built around structure, immersion, and real-world communication, the course introduces foundational French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversational skills through a modern and approachable learning format.
Throughout the academic year, students will work through structured weekly lessons designed to build confidence gradually while developing practical everyday French for conversation, travel, culture, and daily life. Lessons focus on creating long-term comprehension habits while introducing students to French language patterns, expression, and communication in a way that feels engaging, intentional, and culturally connected.
Students can expect to develop confidence introducing themselves, navigating everyday interactions, understanding foundational written French, and communicating through simple conversations and practical real-world situations. The course is structured to support steady progression while preparing students for future PARLE levels and broader international language proficiency pathways.
As students continue through the PARLE curriculum, course structures are also designed to support long-term academic language development and future preparation aligned with DELF, DALF, IELTS, and TOEFL-style language progression and study habits.
