PARLE French B1 PARLE French B1 is an intermediate French course for students who have completed A2-level French or can already communicate in familiar everyday situations. Building on A2, students develop greater fluency, accuracy, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and spoken communication through structured academic instruction and practical French for everyday life. Throughout the academic year, students expand their ability to communicate independently in French through longer conversations, cultural discussions, expressing opinions, social interactions, travel situations, and real-world communication. Coursework develops more complex sentence structures, expanded vocabulary, additional verb tenses, reading passages, written exercises, guided practice, and progressive conversation development. Course Curriculum Includes PARLE B1 Textbook PARLE B1 Workbook Grammar & Vocabulary Development Reading & Writing Practice Listening & Conversation Practice Guided Exercises & Activities Asynchronous Coursework DELF B1 Practice Tests DALF Practice Materials, where applicable Future Course Updates & Revisions DELF and DALF preparation materials and practice assessments will be introduced throughout the curriculum as students progress. Academic Schedule Academic Year: September 15, 2026 – June 8, 2027 Weekly Instruction: Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM 2-hour live class · Europe/Paris time Winter Break: December 21 – January 3 Spring Break: April 12 – 18 Program Enrollment: €550 Tuition: €15/month during the academic year Limited native French learner tutoring opportunities are also available throughout the academic year.
